How the Abuja master plan groups the city into districts built out in phases.
The Federal Capital City is laid out in districts, grouped into phases that were developed in sequence. Phase 1 holds the oldest, most established districts such as Maitama, Asokoro, Wuse, Garki and the Central Business District.
Phase 2 includes districts like Jabi, Utako, Wuye, Katampe, Mabushi and Gudu, and Phase 3 includes areas such as Gwarinpa. Later phases generally have newer infrastructure and lower prices than Phase 1.
Outside the city proper are the Satellite towns, which follow different planning and title arrangements.
